Generator / Inverter Service & Repair

Oil Change & Maintenance
Fluids and filters should be changed regularly to maintain your generator’s top performance. Routine maintenance ensures all components function optimally, reduces the risk of breakdowns, and extends the generator’s lifespan.

Valve adjustment or replacement
Improperly adjusted valves in your generator can lead to a variety of problems, including loss of power, stalling, excessive fuel consumption, and backfiring.

Carburetor Rebuild / Replace
Varnish from stale gasoline can build up in the carburetor of your generator, reducing the amount of air/fuel mixture reaching the engine. This can cause startup issues and more.

Electrical Issues
Electrical issues with your generator / inverter can include bad coils preventing electric flow to the plugs. Loose, corroded, or broken wires can also disrupt the electrical system.

Starter Solenoid
If the generator / inverter cranks slowly or not at all, the starter or solenoid might be faulty. Testing these components can help identify the starting problem.

Spark Plugs
A dirty or improperly gapped spark plug can cause starting problems with your generator / inverter. Clean or replace the spark plugs and ensure they are gapped correctly.

Battery Issues
If your generator / inverter won’t start, the battery might be dead or not properly connected. We can test the battery and replace it if necessary.

Switches
Over time, the contacts inside your generator / inverter switches can wear out or accumulate dirt, resulting in poor electrical connections.

Stator Issues
Symptoms of a bad stator on a generator / inverter include difficulty starting, intermittent or no power output, and overheating. Bad coils and loose, corroded, or broken wires can cause electrical issues, preventing electric flow to the plugs.

Oil or Fuel Leaks
Oil leaks in a generator / inverter often originate from worn gaskets or seals around the oil pan, valve cover, or crankshaft. Fuel leaks can result from a stuck carburetor float, a damaged carburetor bowl gasket, cracked fuel lines, or a leaking fuel tank.
